12 Years a Slave based of a man called Solomon Northup in1853 is about a middle class man who was a great violin player, who went to Washington D.C to get kidnapped and sold to slavery. He worked at the plantations in Louisiana. He gets beaten, minimal food and hard labor.
Your introduction to the movie is really good because you have stuck to the story line well. I think you could be a little bit more in depth though and add a few more sentences. Also watch your wording because it sort of sounds like Solomon wants to get kidnapped. But overall, great blog post and summary of the movie.
